General Terms and Conditions
I. Basic Provisions
- These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "GTC") are issued in accordance with § 1751 et seq. of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code (hereinafter "Civil Code").

(hereinafter referred to as the "Seller") - These General Terms and Conditions govern the mutual rights and obligations of the Seller and a natural person who enters into a purchase contract outside of their business activity as a consumer, or within their business activity (hereinafter: "Buyer") through the web interface on the website www.pedrolamelo.com (hereinafter: "Online Shop").
- The provisions of the General Terms and Conditions form part of the purchase contract. Any conflicting provisions in the purchase contract shall take precedence over these terms.
- These General Terms and Conditions and the purchase contract are concluded in English.
II. Information about Goods and Prices
- Information about goods, including prices and key features, is provided in the Online Shop catalog. Prices include VAT, all associated costs, and costs of returning the goods if they cannot be returned by standard postal means due to their nature. Prices remain valid while displayed in the Online Shop. This does not prevent individually negotiated purchase agreements.
- All product representations in the Online Shop catalog are for informational purposes only; products may vary slightly, and the Seller is not obliged to conclude a purchase contract for them.
- Any discounts on the purchase price cannot be combined unless otherwise agreed by the Seller and Buyer.
- Product dimensions may vary by ±2 cm from the stated measurements.
III. Ordering and Conclusion of the Purchase Contract
- Costs incurred by the Buyer for using remote communication means in connection with the purchase contract (Internet or phone costs) are borne by the Buyer. These costs do not differ from the basic rate.
- The Buyer places orders through their customer account if previously registered or by completing the order form without registration.
- When placing an order, the Buyer selects the products, quantity, payment method, and delivery option. Before submitting the order, the Buyer may review and modify the entered data.
- The Buyer submits the order by clicking the "Submit Order" button. All mandatory fields must be completed.
- Immediately upon receiving the order, the Seller sends a confirmation to the email provided by the Buyer. This confirmation constitutes the conclusion of the contract.
- If any requirement in the order cannot be met, the Seller sends a revised offer to the Buyer. Acceptance of this offer constitutes a new proposal for the purchase contract.
- In case of an obvious technical error in pricing, the Seller is not obliged to supply the goods at the incorrect price, even if an automated confirmation was sent.
IV. Customer Account
- Registered Buyers can access their customer account to place orders. Buyers must provide accurate information and keep credentials confidential.
- The Seller may delete accounts if unused or in case of contractual violations.
V. Payment Terms and Delivery
- The Buyer may pay for goods via:
- Credit/Debit card (Shopify Payments)
- Bank transfer (Instructions provided at checkout)
- The Buyer must also pay packaging and delivery costs. Unless stated otherwise, the purchase price includes delivery.
- Payment is considered complete once funds are credited to the Seller's account.
- Goods are delivered to the address specified by the Buyer or a delivery point chosen during ordering.
- The Buyer must check packaging integrity upon receipt and notify the courier if damaged.
- Liability for accidental loss or damage passes to the Buyer at the time of receipt.
IV. Customer Account
- Registered Buyers can access their customer account to place orders. Ordering is also possible without registration.
- Buyers must provide accurate and truthful information and update it when changes occur. Data is assumed correct by the Seller.
- Access to the account is secured by username and password. The Buyer must keep credentials confidential. The Seller is not responsible for unauthorized use.
- Buyers may not allow third parties to use their account.
- The Seller may delete accounts if unused or in case of contractual violations.
- The account may not always be available due to maintenance of hardware/software.
V. Payment Terms and Delivery
- The Buyer may pay for goods and associated delivery costs via:
- Credit or Debit card (processed via Shopify Payments or integrated gateways);
- Bank transfer to the Seller's account (payment instructions provided during checkout).
- The Buyer must also pay packaging and delivery costs. Unless stated otherwise, the purchase price includes delivery.
- For cashless payment, the price is due within 3 days of the contract.
- For payment via payment portals, the Buyer follows the provider's instructions.
- Payment is considered complete once funds are credited to the Seller's account or confirmed by the payment gateway.
- The Seller does not require prepayment; payment before shipment is not a deposit.
- The Seller issues a receipt and reports sales online to tax authorities as required by law.
- Goods are delivered to:
- The address specified by the Buyer in the order;
- The delivery point (pick-up station) specified by the Buyer;
- Personal pickup at the Seller's premises, if such option is enabled.
- Delivery method is chosen during ordering. Costs depend on the method and are stated in the order and confirmation.
- The Buyer must accept delivery. Additional delivery attempts or changes due to the Buyer are at their cost.
- The Buyer must check packaging integrity upon receipt and notify the courier if damaged. Do not accept tampered packages.
- The Seller issues an invoice via email. Ownership transfers upon full payment, but not before acceptance of goods.
- Liability for accidental loss or damage passes to the Buyer at the time of receipt or when the Buyer should have received the goods.
VI. Withdrawal from the Contract
- Consumers may withdraw from the purchase contract concluded outside their business activity.
- The withdrawal period is 14 days from:
- receipt of goods,
- acceptance of the last delivery if multiple shipments,
- receipt of the first delivery for recurring deliveries.
- Exclusions include services rendered with prior consent, goods dependent on market fluctuations, customized goods, sealed goods not returnable for hygiene reasons, and others per Civil Code Art. 1837.
- To comply, the Buyer must submit a withdrawal statement within the period to info@pedrolamelo.com, preferably using the provided form.
- Goods must be returned within 14 days; costs borne by Buyer. Refunds are issued within 14 days by the same payment method.
- If the Buyer chose a non-standard delivery, only the cost of the cheapest method is refunded.
- Refunds are only issued after the Seller has received the goods or proof of shipment.
- Returned goods should be undamaged, unsoiled, and preferably in original packaging. Certain deductions apply for used or manipulated items.
- The Seller may withdraw if goods are no longer available, with refunds issued within 14 days.
VII. Rights in Case of Defective Performance
- The Seller guarantees goods are free from defects upon delivery, including agreed properties, suitability, quality, quantity, and compliance with legal requirements.
- Manufacturer warranties apply; consumers have 24 months to report defects.
- Lower-priced, used, or worn goods have limited defect rights.
- Buyers may claim repair, replacement, discount, or withdrawal in case of defects.
- Buyers must notify the Seller of the chosen remedy at info@pedrolamelo.com. For repeated or multiple defects, appropriate remedies apply.
- The Seller processes complaints promptly, usually within three working days, or 30 days for complex cases.
- Legitimate claims include reimbursement of reasonable costs associated with the complaint.
VIII. Delivery
- All correspondence may be sent by email.
- Buyer and Seller must use the addresses provided in these terms or the account/order. Seller's contact for delivery is info@pedrolamelo.com.
IX. Personal Data
- Buyer information is confidential. Data is used only to fulfill the contract, except for email marketing if legally allowed. Opt-out is possible.
- Privacy policy on www.pedrolamelo.com provides detailed information.
- Customer satisfaction surveys may be sent via email as part of the Verified by Customers program. Data is processed lawfully and not shared with third parties for unrelated purposes.
X. Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution
- The Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, coi.cz) and the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr) are available for consumer disputes.
- European Consumer Centre Czech Republic provides support per EU Regulation 524/2013.
- The Seller is authorized to sell based on business license; compliance is monitored by relevant authorities.
XI. Fast Exchange Guarantee
An optional service that ensures immediate replacement in case of delivery delays or exchanges if stock allows.
XII. Final Provisions
- Czech law governs all contracts. International elements still fall under Czech law, preserving consumer rights.
- The Seller is not bound by codes of conduct. All website content on www.pedrolamelo.com is protected; unauthorized use is prohibited.
- The Seller is not liable for third-party interference. Buyers must not misuse the Online Shop.
- Buyers accept risk of changes in circumstances. Contracts and GTC are archived electronically by Shopify and the Seller.
- The Seller may amend the GTC; previous rights remain unaffected.
- A model withdrawal form is attached to the GTC.
These Terms and Conditions are effective from February 17, 2026.
